Title A name given to the resource Comunicación popular Description An account of the resource La comunicación popular como herramienta de divulgación e intercambio de información, ha sido uno de los ejes fundamentales del trabajo comunitario de la Corporación Educativa y Cultural Simón Bolívar desde su creación en 1980. A través de numerosas iniciativas pedagógicas y estrategias de comunicación, se han vinculado activamente las comunidades de la Comuna 6 -Doce de Octubre-, de la zona Noroccidental y en general, de la ciudad de Medellín (Colombia) con impacto local y regional, para trabajar en red y aportar a la construcción de ciudadanía desde escenarios de inclusión, en los que se da voz a quienes no han tenido acceso a los medios tradicionales, pero que tienen mucho que contar acerca del territorio. Title A name given to the resource Comunicación popular Description An account of the resource La comunicación popular como herramienta de divulgación e intercambio de información, ha sido uno de los ejes fundamentales del trabajo comunitario de la Corporación Educativa y Cultural Simón Bolívar desde su creación en 1980. A través de numerosas iniciativas pedagógicas y estrategias de comunicación, se han vinculado activamente las comunidades de la Comuna 6 -Doce de Octubre-, de la zona Noroccidental y en general, de la ciudad de Medellín (Colombia) con impacto local y regional, para trabajar en red y aportar a la construcción de ciudadanía desde escenarios de inclusión, en los que se da voz a quienes no han tenido acceso a los medios tradicionales, pero que tienen mucho que contar acerca del territorio. Algunas de las iniciativas en el marco de la comunicación popular que se han adelantado son: Centro de Producción Audiovisual de la Corporación Educativa y Cultural Simón Bolívar, a través del cual se prestaron servicios de producción y registro audiovisual propios y a terceros; Escuela de Comunicación Popular, dirigida a la comunidad en general con el objetivo de desarrollar habilidades básicas en el desarrollo de procesos de aprendizaje de comunicación y periodismo, articulados a las necesidades colectivas; Colectivos de Comunicación Popular, con énfasis en la producción radial con jóvenes de las instituciones educativas; Palabrejas con Orejas, propuesta educativa de comunicación para niños y niñas desde la creatividad y la imaginación; Laboratorio Comunicación Popular para la Primera Infancia, con el objetivo de desarrollar procesos de formación desde el campo de la comunicación, con la participación de actores educativos del entorno institucional, familiar y comunitario; Emisora Comunitaria Zona Radio, espacio de producción radiofónica popular que a través de un ejercicio democrático, favorece la participación desde la diversidad, pluralismo y equidad; Programa radial matizando la paz, iniciativa desarrollada exitosamente en el marco del proyecto Radios Comunitarias para la Paz y la Convivencia; Programa Perfiles de la memoria, con el objetivo de generar espacios de encuentro en el marco de la proyección de registros y producciones audiovisuales que aportan a la memoria comunitaria, implementando una metodología de apropiación del audiovisual comunitario.
